Oh, le gourmet - after so many teashop visits!
Bill Phillips: It looked good and Mr Rolfe seemed to approve
Great portrait Bill! I bet he enjoyed it.

He has really deserved a fine cream tea after his hard working for the British government and society - look at his worry lines!

Eeek!!! I was hoping that would not have been shown to the world. The light has been rather unflatering and gives the impression that I am folically challenged smile
Bill Phillips: This is how the world would want to see you. An expert in his field who pursues his passion without a care for personal vanities.
He is doing a better job that Mr Milliband and the, now famous, bacon sarnie.
Bill Phillips: Millipede....wasn't he some minor politician?
I have pictured Alan just like this. It could almost be an official portrait were there a camera around his neck.
Bill Phillips: He forgot to bring a camera and had to borrow one of mine

A lovely shot, Bill.
It raises the argument of what goes on the base and what goes on top. Down here always jam first then the cream.
Bill Phillips: That is the Cornish way. In Devon it is the other way round. I go with the Cornish way
Yum Yum.
Bill Phillips: I didn't know you were a fan of Gilbert and Sullivan
I hope that scone was as nice as it looks. I note he has a similar haircut to me, it must be all the rage at the moment.
Bill Phillips: I got the impression that it was Brian. The hairstyle is increasingly popular
A scone ninja....
Bill Phillips: A black belt in sconage
Clearly a man of considerable experience!
Bill Phillips: A leading authority based on a wide sampling of the product
this is Alan's better side... he is always looking for tea shops Bill....petersmile
