The dog seems well hidden, Bill.
Bill Phillips: He'd gone back to his car to get a different lens
A very impressive scene Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard

Yes, it is in order - but nothing can beat the green hedges in the formal area of Hidcote Gardens!
Bill Phillips: Perhaps you will prefer tomorrow's picture Philine

This is an amazing image, almost an homage to Blackers himself but not quite
Bill Phillips: Thanks. It was a good day yesterday.

B&W it is. I love the grey tones, it is almost an abstract. I love the sky.
Bill Phillips: Silver Efex Pro is great for b&w Lady P
It's hard to think of Blackdog without B&W, Bill. smile
Bill Phillips: It is his thing Ginnie

No black dog in it, Bill?
Bill Phillips: He'd gone back to his car to get a different lens and there were no other dogs in sight

Ohh.. my 'ead 'urts looking at this. I thought at first it was a composite of several different images but now I look at it more closely I see that its not. Funny you mentioned Blackdog on Saturday.
Bill Phillips: It is more obvious in colour. I actually like this picture.

Curiously abstract.
Bill Phillips: For once I agree comrade
How is our Blackdog? What a strange but wonderful effect that curved hedge makes against the sky!
Bill Phillips: He is fine. It was an enjoyable day which ended with a pleasant couple of pints and lunch by a large log fire
Well it is Black Mondag Bill!
Bill Phillips: And i had spent a day with the master of black Chad
I had the same problem as Alan.
Bill Phillips: You can get pills for it now
the sky is most arresting, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Quite dramatic isn't it Ayush?

This has an atmosphere of the strange world of Lewis Carroll about it, Bill. Definitely feels as if I've taken some sort of pill!
Bill Phillips: It wasn't your cake as I had already done this picture beforehand. Ange was very impressed with your cake too

Like Alan I wasn't seeing it correctly at first - I thought you'd turned the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise and that the very sharp hedge was in fact a path!
Bill Phillips: Perhaps you had too much cake
I must have had too much cake also, I thought at first the sky was something intruding into the picture, but then I suppose it actually is!
Bill Phillips: It's no good blaming the cake. grin
Mono doesn't do it for me in this instance, Bill.
Bill Phillips: sad I am sad now Tom grin

Yes prefer this one Bill - no contest from my perspective. Looks great.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mike. I took this while you were getting your lens from the car. About the only bit of blue sky we had!
