A few optimists live here...I see several rooftops with solar panels, Bill!
Bill Phillips: We are the sun capital of England Ray
Quite an impressive panorama Bill!
Bill Phillips: There are plans to build a lot of new houses where I was standing Richard

Looking across to where my son lives in the Malverns, Bill. It's very good, by the way
Bill Phillips: Thanks. The town is continuing to grow and there will be some 500 houses roughly where I was standing. Another 80 are being built at Salwarpe which is not far away. As usual no real thought has been given to the infrastructure required for the number of people this will add to the population
Thank you for reaffirming my non appearance on face book Bill. This is a rather good shot, I love the Malverns looming in the distance. On the downside it does make Droiters look like some modern overspill town, but hey, doesn't bother me.
Bill Phillips: In most respects it is, and, as it grows will become more so. At the moment you can still go into town and see people you know and it is a manageable size. The addition of another 1300 houses will change the town too much
They are now building houses on the field in front of our house.
Bill Phillips: No doubt like here they have given no thought to the additional demands on local infrastructure. Here, in total some 1300 houses are being built
Seems all these houses are brick. How cool! Very nice shot too.
Bill Phillips: Most houses here are brick built Mary.
Solar panels keep more rain out, Ray...A nice view, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Self cleaning Frank
A thousand homes a thousand stories within
Bill Phillips: I imagine so Martin!
This is a superb panorama Bill... the houses don't even look crooked from this far awaygrin
....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Give them time Peter grin

A fine view looking across to the mountains of Wales(?). Ahhh.. maybe the Malvern Hills.
Bill Phillips: I am not totally sure this is the Malverns in the distance but I think it must be
Couldn't find your Facebook version, Bill - doesn't look as though it needed much of a twiddle smile
Bill Phillips: The one on Facebook is on a page called pictorial Droitwich which is a closed group so nobody on shutterchance saw it gringringrin
Ps don't want to walk round some old house, want a steam railway instead.
Bill Phillips: I have emailed Chris as Frank mentioned you wanted to see puff puffs. There is a suggestion that might appeal but it is a longer journey for you. Ask Frank and he will explain
Thats fine ,Frank said you are paying fuel cost and train ride. And hotel cost, thats very good of you.
Bill Phillips: In your dreams
Nice view across to the Malverns. Less than half a mile from us it has been agreed by the local council that 3,200 houses will be built, all on prime agricultural land, complete with two travellers sites!! To say the local people are angry is an understatement, it has been fought tooth and nail but the council always wins doesn't it!
