Needs a few chairs and a big red icebox in the foreground, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Not sure I would fancy it much Ray
Different styles & ages...
Bill Phillips: Worcester is a very old city Elizabeth and was prominent in the English Civil war
there is a railing across the top and a fence across the bottom... but i don't think that the trees would stop someone from falling off... if there was a big red icebox up there Bill grin
....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Not designed for Ray's idea Peter

I hope you are not going to put yourself into precarious positions this week, Bill - not just before Christmas!
Bill Phillips: I am very risk averse Lisl. This is from a car park
The foregroung terrace could be a "Café" Bill!
Bill Phillips: It could be Richard but access would be difficult!

This shows clearly the variation in architectural styles. There are some gems in Worcester but also this sort of thing, contemporary horror. It's as if the post war planners were blind to aesthetics
Bill Phillips: They made a really good job of spoiling Worcester. Wonderful medieval streets were destroyed along with the last remaining cathedral Lichgate in England which was demolished to make way for an hotel!

Oh yes, I agree- and you captured the variety in an interesting way! But where is the HIVE?
Bill Phillips: More or less behind me Philine
I always quite like the rooftops, Bill, especially of England, for some reason (the chimney pots). smile
Bill Phillips: We have a rich variety of chimney pots Ginnie

What the hell were you doing on the roof, Billiam?
Bill Phillips: It is a car park comrade
I am a bit under the weather at the moment, this has just made me feel even worse.
Bill Phillips: My day has not been in vain then.

Hope you are better in time for Christmas. Can't have Granddad off form
The flat roof looks great Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is a thing of great beauty Chad....as are you

A nice tennis court might be possible. Love the skyline though.
Bill Phillips: You might lose a lot of tennis balls Lady P
There's insufficient gutteridge detail for Chad smile
Bill Phillips: it is a bit light on that Tom
I read your answer to Chris, typical local council vandalism!! Still at least there are some nice old towers to look at.
Bill Phillips: What they have done to worcester is criminal Brian
A fine contrast between uncompromising brutalism and classical towers topped off with a cheerful blue sky!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Fred. Worcester is a right mixture of the good the bad and the ugly
