My mother has one of these chairs but I'm sure that the dog has more concept of left, right and allowing enough space for corning.

During a walk on our Peak District holiday last month we saw a lady with a pushchair and sitting in it was a quite old spaniel of some sort. She lifted it out and for a while it struggled to walk around a bit and then after a while she lovingly lifted it back in to the pushchair and carried on with her walk. We found it rather touching.
