White haired from worry about that fundamental boating rule...is it starboard:starboard or port:port...what can't it be easy?
Bill Phillips: Something about Port wine comes to mind.

Looks like it's time for a doze in the sun. I was just doing just that yesterday afternoon at 2pm; I'm sure I've not got used to the time difference.
Bill Phillips: Any time is good for a doze in the sun. The "experts" are telling now that a middle of the day sleep is good for us

A popular way to while away your declining years, sitting on a boat and not really going anywhere
Bill Phillips: Sounds like my whole life
A popular style of life these days Bill!
Bill Phillips: Very much so Richard. Our canals are having a new lease of life
We bought the damn boat so we might as well use it every weekend for the next forty years
Bill Phillips: No worse than a caravan Comrade, and these don't clutter up the roads
I can see Trimbo on one of these with a glass of wine in one hand and the tiller in the other and a woman sat at the front eating a sausage sarnie.
Bill Phillips: Which he would photograph her eating and post on shuterchance
I'd hate to be that jolly.
Bill Phillips: I think he was concentrating
This has become very popular and something we've thought about doing sometime
Bill Phillips: It is very popular but much as I like seeing the boats on the canal I have no desire to have a holiday on one
I think I would rather enjoy drifting along on a canal boat through the glorious English countryside on a lovely day like today, as long as somebody else was doing all the work!
Bill Phillips: Sounds appealing but I can't say I really fancy it
I must be dense... where is the boat?
Bill Phillips: They are sitting in it Larry. It is a narrow boat
Ah! They're on a boat - I see - I thought it was the dj getting ready in a bar!
