Cardigan

For anyone who is interested this is a panorama taken on my little Lumix. 4 snaps adjusted in Lightroom and then stitched in Photoshop. A dabble of colour efex pro and there you go!

Your description of the yacht is way beyond my ken, Bill...no matter, though, as my eyes are on the plastic canoes.
Bill Phillips: They add a touch of colour Ray
Not straight out of the camera then ? I believe this is frowned upon by some....smile Very good, Bill, just don't like the bottom left hand corner.
Bill Phillips: Well not entirely......I would have preferred the roof of the boat in a different colour perhaps but it does hold in the picture
And you did it all well Bill!
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you Richard

Clever you, Bill. Looks good!
Bill Phillips: Sounds impressive but it only a long winded way of saying twiddled Lisl
I keep saying I'm gonna use that feature one day, Bill!!! If/when I do, you'll be the first to know, especially if I can get it to look half as good as this! I'm impressed.
Bill Phillips: The little Lumix does in camera panoramas but I wanted to do it in Photoshop

Great picture. Love the colours. I would love to try what you do, but I am afraid I need some more time on my hands..
Bill Phillips: It didn't take long to do Lady P. I seem to have less time now than I did when I was working!

Very good indeed. It might pay you to do more experimenting like this, seeing as you readily have the twiddling tools at your disposal
Bill Phillips: I twiddle virtually everything I take. Sometimes blatantly grin
Boy done good then.
Bill Phillips: Not bad for a little compact (the camera not me)
Say that in English.
Bill Phillips: I twiddled it

You've twiddled very well, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pauline
Looks good to me Bill. Have you tried the built in panorama mode in the Lumix camera, I took several in the Peak District the week before last, it works quite well.
Bill Phillips: I have and it does. Photoshop does it even better
You did a great job...
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Larry

Very impressive; not sign that this is pano so even more impressive. I like the stone buildings and the bridge. I've got an issue with my TZ70 in that half the lens cover blades doing close when the camer is off. Luckily, it is still under guarantee.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Alan. I have heard of people having a problem with that. Luckily I haven't . My only gripe is that the letters on the mode selection dial seem to be fading rapidly and I have to look at the screen to see what mode I have selected!
And pretty effective too! You have the model with the viewfinder, don't you - tht was subject to some criticism, but I'm thinking of changing - how do youfind it?
Bill Phillips: They improved the viewfinder on the TZ70 and it isn't bad. Comes in handy when the light is very bright. Of course it is nothing like a DSLR but it works. I like the camera. It is small and well made and considering the size of the sensor it produces decent results. Up to ISo 800 noise levels are acceptable but above that it ain't too hot. The big thing is the lens which is equivalent to 24-720 and performs well. I think Panasonic do this sort of camera as well as anyone and I use mine a lot
