St Dogmaels Cat

More about the Abbey tomorrow. This cat clearly thought it owned the place and despite looking a bit of a bruiser he was very friendly and came rushing over to greet us!

I try to stay away from cats that come run up to me, I rather have them not closer than 3 feet..
I do like the portrait though.
Bill Phillips: We have always had cats and usually make friends with at least one when we are on holiday
He wanted a little head rubbing. I can tell from the eyes.
Bill Phillips: He'd had quite a bit of fuss and was hoping for more
Love the expression Bill. He does look like he's the caretaker
Bill Phillips: Very much his domain Janet
I'm a bit like Astrid with cats although i must admit this one is a fine looking animal.
Bill Phillips: He was very friendly and followed us around for a while
Probably expected you to produce a mouse! smile
Bill Phillips: Not something I do in the normal course of events Tom

Like long lost friends. I suffered the wrath of a Siamese cat in Closely many years ago, It seemed OK with the first 100 visitors to stroke it but I was no. 101 and it lashed out. Puss here wants the place renamed to St. Catmaels.
Bill Phillips: Cats are very good judges of character.....just sayin' gringringrin
wondrous creatures...
Bill Phillips: They surely are Larry
I've learned looks can be deceiving when it comes to cats... and dogs, and well, humans also... smile Very nice shot, Bill!
