Bill Phillips: Ah he was the Cheshire salt man. I was doing our monthly book sale and we made £500

Words fail me, the woman on the right was innocently out shopping then roped in to this strange group of Droitwichites..
Bill Phillips: Looks like she was on her way to a wedding

I hope it comes into its own again, Bill
Bill Phillips: Salt production from brine in Droitwich is never going to be commercially viable again
Lost for words Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am pleased you are in awe Michael

The two gentlemen and the lady in red have made no effort to dress up; they seem to have come as they are. At least the other two ladies have entered into the spirit of the event.

Ah.. no, this is Droitwich, not Bath. I was thinking of the 99% eccentric population of Bath... smile
Bill Phillips: Like Bath we date back to Roman times, but unlike Bath are not afflicted by Jane Austen
A fine modern/ancient contrast here Bill!
Bill Phillips: A fashion gap of 800 years Richard grin
Good to see Droitwich in celebratory mode Bill and it wasn't raining
Bill Phillips: We get little rain here Janet. Only on days with a Y in them
With all such things there are those who go the whole distance and those who don't, the two ladies on the right fall in to the second category I think.
Bill Phillips: They failed the audition and are just hangers on Brian
I take it that the two ladies in modern dress are time-travellers!
Bill Phillips: Old Dr Who assistants fallen on hard times
