Looks delightful. There are boats just over the horizon, too. I like the light in this (and I'm not talking about the shadow of the light).

It's a place with many family connections for me, Bill. Many childhood visits to my godmother, and my Mum lived and went to school there during the war.
Bill Phillips: Although we lived in Exeter we seldom came to Sidmouth but went to Exmouth as it has a sandy beach. It is a very nice town though and I can enjoy it more now that the beach is not essential!

Aye, 'tis a great shot. I imagine the shot without the shadowy figures and know it would be bland. Others, like Shawbone can learn from it.
