Just listen to your missus, Bill...even if she is wrong she is right...

Besides...the evidence is compelling...the boid is grasping a reed, and looks like it might be about to either pass wind or warble...
Bill Phillips: I think it warbled
i can never put a name to the birds that i photograph Bill... but this one's a cracker....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I can recognise a robin or a blackbird

Either reed or sedge but that doesn't matter, a very agreeable shot
Bill Phillips: Don't confuse the issue.
Those who know know, Bill. What a sweet little birdie, captured perfectly.
Bill Phillips: I will go with Lisl, she knows
This is a very fine (unmessed-up) picture Billiam.
Bill Phillips: So a square crop is allowed and detailed work in lightroom and photoshop just no fun?
What a wonderful capture Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard!

Brilliam, William!
Bill Phillips: Thank you grin
Always trust what the women say. You MUST have learned this by now.
Bill Phillips: Trust is the wrong word...you just go along with it if you want to survive

Great capture, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Pauline
A cracking shot of the little fella! smile
Bill Phillips: He was rather cute!
A sweet litle bird and he does look at home in the reeds. Nicely captured Bill
Bill Phillips: He hung around for quite a while and i gather they are normally quite elusive Janet

Definitely in the warbler family. So you may lend your ears to the two sages. Great shot.
Bill Phillips: I have done and am sure they are right
Perhaps the fact that it is sitting on a Reed was a bit of a clue.
Bill Phillips: Could have been a reed bunting Brian....mind you I have no idea what one looks like

Tonight I'll see the play "The Audience" by Peter Morgan with Helen Mirren as Queen in our cinema!
Bill Phillips: She makes a good Queen does Helen

Very good, too. If it was warbling on the reeds then I'm sure you're right. It;s a fine shot of it.
Bill Phillips: You can't beat a good warble
Indeed it is, Bill - and a lovely shot to get, lucky you!
Bill Phillips: Very lucky.I seldom even get a half decent picture of a gull!
Oooooh excellent shot, Bill!!!
Bill Phillips: Cute little fella isn't he? ( The bird dear not Frank grin )
