Great Garages of the world No1

To mark my landmark birthday I am starting a landmark series on great garages of the world.

This first gem is from East Anglia and has been wisely placed in the lee of the building to protect it from the howling wind from the north sea

No I am not bl**dy 70 .....only 65

A great start with new ideas and enjoy your day! What will Joseph be saying to you? Children from 4 years on like to sing:

"Viel Glück und viel Segen
auf all deinen Wegen,
Gesundheit und Frohsinn
sei auch mit dabei."

This is also my wish for you!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Philine...I even managed to find the tune on You tube!
Happy birthday Bill,Zimmer frame in the post.
Bill Phillips: Whisky would have been better

Happy birthday, Bill! Being far older than you I can tell you that it does not hurt being 65; different day, same old sh*t, we day.

I trust that this is not going to turn into a long Chad-like series smile
Bill Phillips: Quite the opposite Alan. I remember someone telling me 50 wasn't so bad, it was only a few days ago....oh...
I think I prefer the music... wink
Bill Phillips: Hahahahaha I couldn't stand more than about 30 seconds of it!
Err, very good...( I'll be kind on your Birthday )
A very happy birthday Bill, 65, prepare to be patronised, o.a.p....
Bill Phillips: Heaven help anyone who tries to patronise me Frank grin

Bill Phillips: Thank you Ronky. I have no immediate plans to grow up grin
Quite a useful looking garage, room for lots of stuff. Have a very happy birthday, 1950 must have been a good year, Maureen's brother is 65 five weeks today.
Bill Phillips: 1950 was a vintage year Brian

On this note, congratulations - first on your decision to present this monumental series. Second on your advanced age attained - pretty close to 70 I reckon.

May you catch a garage band in action during your quest.
Bill Phillips: Tomorrow I will be closer to 70 than 60
You are a mere youngster Bill. I like the idea of this series and today's picture. I am also a little concerned that you and your mate, blackpig, are trying to please me with your postings.
Bill Phillips: I am making no effort to please anyone. It is mere chance
Happy retirement.
Bill Phillips: Thank you

You have to wait a few weeks to get your state pension fed into your piggy bank.

I know exactly where this is.
Bill Phillips: You were peering though the window on the other side only minutes before.

Yes the state pittance doesn't kick in as they now pay it in arrears .

RT's garage? Two garages - these might be wealthy persons. Our neighbour has such a garage, but he uses them only as sort of shed to store many things like toilet paper ...
I thought you were 60!
Bill Phillips: No these are not RT's garages. I was 60 but 5 years ago grin
