Cripes...first they use up the floorboards to line the ceiling, and now they use the bricks as linoleum!

Perhaps this builder's first solo effort?
Bill Phillips: He was a pioneer Ray

This is nice but I will ask you something technical, like what software and trickery allowed you to perfectly expose both inner & outer in the same shot?
Bill Phillips: This is why I used my Pentax . Five bracketed pictures processed firstly in Photomatix Pro and then adjusted in Lightroom. It is good old HDR but I have tried to make it not to obvious. I have not yet got to the 19 exposure and masked layers in photoshop which produces HDR to the extreme. This is mainly because I haven't got a clue how to do it
I am usually not keen on HDR but I really like this soft one Bill! You did a great job indeed.
Bill Phillips: I usually try to tone HDR down unless I am feeling like letting rip :d
This is a beaut of a window. Well done.
Bill Phillips: It is Mary: and it is a beaut of a building
The HDR works well Bill, but what this does show is how the church is so light and airy because of those large plain glassed windows.
Bill Phillips: It does indeed Brian
I guess the medieval glass was destroyed by the last lot of religious vandals!
Bill Phillips: I imagine so although I don't know how old this glass is

I like your reply to Chris. You're done well to hiide the HDR yet to bring out the detail that may have otherwise been lost.
Bill Phillips: I find with churches you can either end up with the windows burnt out or the church in total darkness so a bit of merging of bracketed exposures helps
nicely exposed, Bill. the arch on the right is probably crying out for some more embellishments.
Bill Phillips: You think it feels it is missing out Ayush? grin
