Looks like a dopey builder got the plans a little skewed and used up the floor boards on the ceiling, Bill!

One of my favorite things to do while in these cathedrals is looking up, Bill. This is a FABULOUS case in point for WHY!
Bill Phillips: Looking up is almost always a good plan.....except if a seagull is flying overhead

That is a pretty splendiferous roof - must be home to a million cobwebs!
Bill Phillips: You would need a long feather duster to get rid of them Mike
Not exactly handy for painting the ceiling Bill. It would not have stopped Tiff and me from quoting for the job.
Bill Phillips: You may have had to borrow a ladder
A long narrow ceiling. I guess it matches the building.
Bill Phillips: The tilt rather distorts the width Mary
This makes a nice abstract, Bill, an impressive place.
Bill Phillips: It is quite something Frank and it hasn't been "modernised" by the Victorians

Like looking up at the inside bottom of an old sailing ship. I see they use angels to keep the ceilings aloft, maybe the puritans missed them.
Bill Phillips: Not very bright them Puritans
I'm glad you are showing us the inside, it is so large and light and airy with all those windows.
Bill Phillips: It is a wow place Brian
very well framed Bill... i like the high windows...
the ceiling looks like the original rafters for a stone roof... and the carved angels are a nice touch....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Peter. I assume the ceiling is original. It certainly looked it
Fine shot of a fine roof, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. That's just fine wink
