All prospective MPs have to become men, or women, of the people at times such as these
Bill Phillips: Have you noticed how all the men in this election are looking like the common people by wearing suits but no tie?

It is wonderful to see such happy, laughing persons! I can hear their optimistic sounding laughter. Laughter is infectious. I never saw our politicians laughing in this way- but they don't have much for laughter at the moment.
Bill Phillips: This chap can afford to laugh as he is almost certain to win what is a very safe Conservative seat. No proportional representation here Philine.

~ Winston Churchill
I assume he has just heard his party's philosophy...
Bill Phillips: He can afford to laugh. Mid Worcestershire is a rock solid Tory seat and his predecessor had 54% of the vote...
Just a stroll in the park for the Tories.
Bill Phillips: One of the safest seats.
Definitely the wrong colour smile
Bill Phillips: I did do a little photoshop job.....
