Just waiting for the next tenant!
Bill Phillips: These have been empty for years. They were due to have been demolished as part of the grandiose scheme to rebuild the shopping precinct....then 2008 happened
good composition Bill... i don't like to see empty stores... they attract vandals....petersmile

I see the beautiful timber-framed houses of Droitwich.
Bill Phillips: Part of the Raven Hotel Philine, which will not be there for too much longer

Soon to be the next charity shop
Bill Phillips: It won't even be that, although there are already 5 in this road. See my reply to Tiffo for further details
This is a very good picture oh blackbear. I shall look forward to this new MONDAY thing if this is the standard.
Bill Phillips: I like to post a proper picture now and then
If ever there's something half-timbered in your images, Bill, I will find it and drool. You know me!
Bill Phillips: I hate to tell you Ginnie but that is fake. It is the Raven Hotel and most of it is not that old, but the one bit is and is a listed building

Greedy landlords wanting too much rent? Perhaps this could be a CostaNeroStarbuck's?
Bill Phillips: It was all part of the grandiose scheme to revitalise the precinct. Then 2008 happened and now these shops are cut off and will probably remain so for a very long time

Is this a sign of the times Bill? yet another empty premises ready to be taken over by a charity shop or mobile phone outlet
Bill Phillips: There are already 5 charity shops in this road and several others in the town and another one is due to open soon. We have got carphone warehouse....a shop I will never use I suspect grin
I hope your Monday is better than this building.
Bill Phillips: It would be pretty bad if it wasn't Mary grin
We have a large empty space in the town centre where there used to be a pub. The pub and land had been bought by developers to build something so they started to clear the site, including demolishing the pub, and then the local authority decided not to give planning permission after all. Now we have something that looks like a bomb site!!
Bill Phillips: Nice joined up thinking going on there. Clearly palms were not greased
Looks as though someone has fallen on hard times!
Bill Phillips: Get the tenants out so that you can redevelop the site then have a recession.
