It would be a foreign land to them, as indeed it is to many others..
Bill Phillips: It is to me

Oh, I know where are - now a busy place!
Bill Phillips: I don't know if this market will continue. We shall see
I remember this exact spot, Bill, and actually quite like seeing it in market mode...just like ours here next to our Grote Kerk a couple blocks away from us.
Bill Phillips: I think it is a good thing Ginnie. I have not actually bought anything but one day I might

I have to admit that this is a perfect place for a market. I hope they all succeed.
Great shot of all the goods and the early sun.
Bill Phillips: It is a good site Lady P and hopefully it will attract people into town
Oh yes, they never imagined the invention of clothing.
Bill Phillips: They didn't wear much in the salt works.......

Yes, a right load of old tat made in sweat shops in the far East. LOL at Chad.
Bill Phillips: Sad but true probably

Chad is a daft sod
Not my idea of a good time either.
Bill Phillips: Some people love wandering around markets. Ange used to but seldom bothers these days
Can't quite work out the 'offer' on the Bra rail ?
Bill Phillips: Well you shouldn't be looking at that Martin grin

I keep seeing this Raven Hotel - you will know why it sticks in my memory, Bill
Bill Phillips: Indeed and it is deteriorating. Hopefully something will happen before the decent bit, which is listed falls down
Lucky it doesn't rain much in Droitwich
Bill Phillips: Unlike Bath Janet
Just look at all those dresses, another stall to steer Maureen clear of! That building in the background looks nice, is it as old as it looks.
Bill Phillips: Part of it is and is listed. The rest is supposed to be coming down for the site to be redeveloped. Sad really as it has long been a landmark in the town
Not much action, it seems?
Bill Phillips: Nothing much happens in Droitwich before about 10.00am Tom

I went to my market this morning... Bought some very good artisan bread ...but resisted the fresh fish.
Bill Phillips: You are lucky being near the coast and thus able to get decent fish.

The contrast of light and shadow looks great in this picture.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis
Very cool with the statue in the centre of it all.
Bill Phillips: It is a rather good statue too
