Reading already...he'll be taking over your book stall soon, Bill.

It's good that you both get to spend at least one day a week looking after him; probably something that is repeated by thousands of other people, too, looking after their grandchildren. My grandmother used to look after me, too!
Bill Phillips: We love every minute of it (especially as Ange has to deal with nappies)
Nice to see he is enjoying books Bill. What a precious image!
Bill Phillips: He loves books Richard and has been read to since he was tiny
One of a Grandma's great pleasures in my opinion.
Bill Phillips: Yes and Granddads too

got to develop the reading habit ... with real books of course.
Bill Phillips: His parents read and so do we. He loves his books too
That's really beautifully lit Bill. Excellent shot
Bill Phillips: It was an accident Janet. I had my finger partly over the flash on my little compact and this was the result!
This is a delightful picture Bill, if you all read then I'm sure he will be encouraged to by you all. Our Lauren loves reading and the school said at the age of 6 she had a reading age of at least 8, I do hope she continues to read, she soaks the knowledge up like a sponge.
Bill Phillips: There is a whole world in books, I feel sorry for children who don't get to learn the love of reading
You'll be digging out all your old kid's books now, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: He likes Thomas the tank engine (as did his Mum) and I have given him my copy of Wind in the willows for when he is older. It was my favourite book (and in some ways it still is) I hope he will enjoy reading his granddads copy when he is older
