I really like this composition, Bill! AND I know how to say that name... "Wurster"!
Bill Phillips: How do you pronounce Worcester, Massachusetts? We would say Wooster the same as our Worcester

Must be difficult to play when wearing gloves. I like the reflections.
Bill Phillips: I would find it no more difficult....but then I can't play without either

From the great sauce town. They have a concert in honour of Carol.
Bill Phillips: Worcester Sauce is world renown. (Carol less so)
Love all the colour in this shot. I lived near Worcester, Massachusetts and it is called Wooster. By the real native Mass. people the R would not be pronounced so it would be called Woosta.
Bill Phillips: That's interesting as a lot of Worcester people here say Woosta too!
very creative shot Bill! taking a nice break
Bill Phillips: Warming her hands up too I think Ronky

Bill Phillips: I love the look and sound of brass
Sensible person, you can't twiddle the whatnots with cold fingers.

Quiet reflection?
Bill Phillips: Perhaps Pauline
Colour certainly suits this one, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I thought so Tom so I am pleased you agree
Sometimes these little detail shots of brass band players are better than a larger view, this is one of them because it also tells the story of cold hands in winter. Hows that for a camera club comment wink
Bill Phillips: Good grief Brian.....I'm not sure i like this picture any more gringringringrin

Nervous fingers ... maybe
Bill Phillips: Perhaps she had heard a rumour that you were going to be there comrade ?
See nothing has change, usual rubbish.
Bill Phillips: and you still can't recognise a decent picture when you see one. Welcome back grin
Brass gets cold Bill... i always kept the mouthpiece for my trumpet in my mouth on winter days....petersmile
Bill Phillips: That sounds a bit dangerous Peter!

I like the colours Bill, the green reflected from the grass contrasts perfectly with the episcopal purple.

The hands and towel convey the chill and compositionally, sum up the day perfectly.
Bill Phillips: I remember having a bedroom colour scheme in purple and green....it was fashionable in the early 70s!
this is a nice close up. the leather is a strong counter point to the chrome of the instruments
Bill Phillips: Yes I think you are right Ayush
