Oh, I like this scene - and I like that Joseph is interested in books so early - I'm convinced he will soon be able to read on his own. I don't know this book, but I'll google ...
Bill Phillips: Julia Donaldson wrote the Gruffalo. Her books with illustrations by Axel Schleffler are a delight

The Prince became King HA.
He will remember these times with his dad, like I remember my dad reading to me and making all the funny voices.....
I passed it on to my son, and yes he has fond memories about the reading too.
Great set of pictures!!!!
Bill Phillips: Reading with a child is a great way to spend time
Little Joseph is so absorbed, Bill, he doesn't even know you're there! I love it.
Bill Phillips: He loves being read to Ginnie

He is into books for now ... my three year old granddaughter is still into books, can operate i-phones, operate the dvd player to watch her dvd's and fortunately she will still bring a book and ask that you read it for her.
Bill Phillips: He loves his books. The only DVDs he watches are some Postman Pat ones

A joy to behold - long my he resist the the pinch and swipe of the ipad and enjoy plain old page turning.

Great photos Bill.
Bill Phillips: With his parents he probably will as they both work in a library!
Definitely the centre picture is the best of the three but Joseph seems to be engrossed, his little face on picture three is delightful.
Bill Phillips: Ye I love his expression in picture 3 Brian
Lovely shots of Joseph enjoying his storytime Bill. His dad looks well into it too
Bill Phillips: Andy enjoys reading to him as we all do Janet

I wonder how long it will before he's saying "Read it again, Granddad" and you'll probably do it from memory after a few times wink
Bill Phillips: There are a few we almost know by heart!
It's good to see a child reading. I hope it's a lifelong habit...
I suspect he is not going to go short of books!
He does look to be enjoying himself! Very nice triptych!
Bill Phillips: He loves his books!
