Christmas 2

I suppose this is the Carol for grandparents  Somehow it encapsulates  the hope for the future. Perhaps Joseph's generation will finally get it right and the world will know peace and freedom from fear and hunger

(No that isn't me)

No reason to suppose mankind is acquiring wisdom, Bill...
Bill Phillips: The evidence is sadly lacking Ray. There are lots of lovely people out there, trouble is none of them are in power!
Hope for the future indeed Bill! What a precious image.
Bill Phillips: It is one I will always enjoy Richard.
i pray the same thing for our grandchildren too Bill...
Joseph is growing up so fast....petersmile
Bill Phillips: You have to hope but it is hard to be optimistic Peter

Unfortunately, I don't see much potential universal improvement for the world, whilst I see out my last couple of decades or so.
Bill Phillips: I wish I could disagree comrade but you have to hope.

I think Joe has seen through all this pantomime already..
Bill Phillips: He nicked a sheep off the nativity display, which he is holding in his hand....we did put it back!

I love Joseph's thoughtful, some critical facial expression - the carol sounds very familiar to me - wonderful video - oh, I would like to join a carol singing service in England!
Bill Phillips: He takes everything in Philine!

Another for the family album, which Joseph will show to his grandchildren one day!
Bill Phillips: That's a nice thought Lisl. I shudder to think what he will tell him about his daft old grandfather!

I wonder how long it is before today's children will be contacting the Police to report peadophile activites from some old bloke in a beard when they were kids? Never, I hope; long may the magic continue.
Bill Phillips: We actually have strict guidelines for doing Santa these days. Mainly to protect us!!

Santa look somewhat familiar Bill. I share your hopes but would not put my money on it happening.
Bill Phillips: Had you read the blub you would know that he is not
In this sea of negativity, there is always hope. Love the shot!
Bill Phillips: We have to hope the next generation will do better

We can only hope so Bill - Joseph seems very bemused by the whole "man with beard' syndrome.
Bill Phillips: He came away with a tuft of beard as I recall!
A sweet one Bill. Looks like Joseph is working out a cunning plot to pull Santa's beard off
Bill Phillips: He had already pinched one of the lambs off the nativity! (We did put it back)
I'm so pleased to see this lovely picture of Joseph at his first 'proper' Christmas, I hope he hasn't picking up bad habits about sheep from our good friend from the southern counties!
Bill Phillips: The sheep thing is a bit worrying Brian grin

What a lovely picture Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Anne. My daughter Helen is a lovely mum smile
Lets hope so, Bill...But I'm not going to hold my breath....
Bill Phillips: Sadly neither am I
Santa in specs! Unheard of!
It was a lovely video, Bill - and a great photo of your little Joseph!
