No Matter, Bill...the trailer/sleigh is unhitched so The Tifflets won't be going anywhere they can do damage.
Bill Phillips: The dirty great 4x4 was just about to hitch up!
A scary elf joined the sleigh Bill...
Bill Phillips: They don't come much scarier Richard

I have never seen a less festive image than this dog's dinner of a shot!
Bill Phillips: Makes a lot of money and people complain if we miss them out!

Yes, I'm really shocked - what did happen with Christmas! - in Belgium I read overall the term 'winterfeestje'/winterfeast instaed of Christmas- I don't have any name for this 'carriot'.
Bill Phillips: We tow this sleigh around the streets of Droitwich and the children come out to see Santa. It has been going for years. It used to be Round Table and we used to take our children out to see him. Now we do it in conjunction with Rotary. In addition to being enjoyed by the children, and a lot of parents and grandparents to, it also raises quite a lot of money for our charity funds. The money we raise from this is always used to support things that are for children.

Needless to say the sleigh isn't normally decorated with Tifflets grin

Oh, sorry, Bill, my words didn't appreciated enough the wonderful Droitwich engagement - now I want to express my respect for this wonderful charity activity which is well combined with real Christmas! Are you dressed up as Santa sitting in this carriot? Chris should be your Knecht Ruprecht carrying out all the sacks full of presents ...
Bill Phillips: No this one isn't me, although I will be on board on Saturday morning when we will be outside the library. This nonsense of winterfest seems to be creeping in here too. Christmas is a major Christian festival and other religions are no more offended by it than Christians are by Diwali or any other festivals.

Hopefully such a sight will deter little children from their greedy ways, fearful that they may get a Tifflet for Christmas (and, worryingly, a Tifflet is not just for Christmas). I've seen Tiny Tim at the 1970 Isle fo Wight Festival. I don't aopprove of the wheels on Santa's sleigh either.
Bill Phillips: Not all children are like that. We had one in the grotto who didn't want anything and a few years ago one just wanted peace in the world. This year they all seem to want things from the latest Disney epic Frozen

It wouldn't get far without them

This commercialisation of Tiffmas has to stop!
Bill Phillips: It is a disgrace Mike!
The poor children of Droitwich, Bill.
The mini Tifflet on the front of the sleigh reminds me of Carrek eating his dinner.
Bill Phillips: Hahahahaha

Ha ha ha this is brilliant Bill, Santa taking the old dictator on a trip round the world.
Bill Phillips: What a lovely thought smile
You've outdone youself today, Sir. I hope Tiff is not a revengeful person.
Bill Phillips: He will get his own back you can be sure of it.
Speechless , what can one say.
Bill Phillips: There are not words to describe this Michael
WE have a similar sleigh coming down our road this week, sadly no Tifflets.
Bill Phillips: I hope you give Santa a nice big wave Brian
