I think the rat owns a remote control Tifflet, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I have thought the same for some time Ray
i hope that the rat wasn't his lunch Bill...

judging by the path of the ball... it's about to collide with two more balls if MurrayTifflet doesn't movegrin
....petersmile
Bill Phillips: More likely the other way round
Honestly - where do you come up with this stuff?! smile
Bill Phillips: It is easy when you are slightly insane E
Was the Rat of any help here Bill?
Bill Phillips: Unlikely Richard. Typical coach exhorting his charge to do the obvious
He'll at least have a few months to practice, Bill. That should help.
Bill Phillips: He needs years Ginnie.....

It might help when Murray Tifflet is using his knees a little better...
Coach Mrs.Rattie XVI should know better and shout louder.
Bill Phillips: There is not much leg movement going on there Lady P. He is far too rigid in his approach. Perhaps he needs a bacon buttie

My rat & I are taking legal advice over this

My lawyer has just phoned to say it is no more than I deserve..
Bill Phillips: You have a good lawyer
It's all balls to me.Shoot the Tifflet and save the rat, on second thoughts.
Bill Phillips: You can't go around shooting Tifflets....I'd have nothing left to fill the empty hours

I really appreciate this Monday morning laugh, Bill!
Bill Phillips: More so than Chris does probably.

He doesn't seem to have grasped the idea that the bat needs to be moved to hit the ball, rather than waiting for the ball to hit the bat. A fault of many tennis players apparently ;o)
Bill Phillips: With the high tech racquets they use these days that seem to propel the ball at speeds close to the speed of sound I'm surprised they ever hit the ball at all
The rat is invaluable during games with opponents. The rat whispers plays in his ear and nibbles it if he misses.
Bill Phillips: That would certainly be an incentive not to miss Mary.

Keeps him off the streets
Bill Phillips: Sadly it doesn't comrade
the rat certainly seems to be making a point here, Bill
Bill Phillips: They are very smart creatures Ayush.

There is nothing like a photo of a true sporting gentleman...

..and this is nothing like a photo of a true sporting gentleman. Perhaps Ratty is giving some tips?
Bill Phillips: He fails on both counts Alan

Typical, eh? He plays against him. I wonder which one won.
Bill Phillips: My money would be on the rat
Once again it's all been said. Now that Ratty has made an appearance are we going to get any Tifflet Tales of the Riverbank?
Bill Phillips: I used to love tales of the riverbank smile
Is the idea that he smacks the ball so hard it swings a full circle and knocks Mr.Ratty off his shoulder.
Bill Phillips: He wouldn't mange that once in a million tries Brian
Come on Tim!
Bill Phillips: Tim???
Is this the sporting Tifflet Bill? Imagine my surprise when I finally get internet access and see that the Tifflets are back. Hooray.
Bill Phillips: It is indeed. You have missed a number of Tifflet pictures unless you have been bothered to look. But fear not there are still some to come
Tiff brings to Tennis what Murrymints mum brought to dancing
