photoblog image Tifflets Christmas Special

Tifflets Christmas Special

Yes they are back. Due to popular demand combined with the fact that I can't be bothered to go out and take any pictures  the lovable rogues are back for a Christmas special.

This may run right up to Christmas or I might get so sick of it I will be forced to take some pictures of all the dead stuff in  my garden

In this snap we see three of them ( I forget the character names I gave them originally ) So it is Psychotifflet in the background, jobsworthtifflet in the middle and arseytifflet in the foreground. Quite what they are doing (apart from getting wet from the fact it is Droitwiching on them) is anybody's guess.

The best suggestion will go into the hat for the grand prize at the end of the series

I believe they are offering their bodies to the lonely, rich gals and blokes that drive slowly along here in Aston Martins, Bill.
Bill Phillips: They wouldn't even get any takers from poor gals and blokes on mopeds
This was shot so many years ago Bill...
Bill Phillips: They probably should have been Richard
perhaps demonstrating the perspective view down this way.
Bill Phillips: They are just a bunch of idle layabouts Ayush

Clearly they have missed the charabanc to Weston super Mare and are trying to hail a cab or thumb a lift.
Bill Phillips: In the rain Bournemouth can be every bit as depressing as Weston super Mud

I just knew I should have stayed in bed this morning - THIS IS FRIGHTFUL!!
Bill Phillips: This is only the beginning.......
HAHAHAHA! Well, then. I expect this to be highly entertaining, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Don't get your hopes up to much Ginnie

I can recognize two tifflets -I admire your skills to compose such a funny photo! I learnt recently a new word 'to tiffin' - the Psychotifflet could have tiffined voluptously.
Bill Phillips: There used to be a chocolate bar called a Tiffin. I think the word is one of the many that comes from the days of the British Raj in India.
They are the new boy band and are waiting for the tour bus to take them on their world tour of Droitwich.Seats for the concerts are not selling fast.
Bill Phillips: Calling themselves Geriatrica might have been a bad idea...
Tifflet in white appears to be much larger and the one closest, fifty pounds lighter. I think they are busily losing weight.
Bill Phillips: He has been unkindly scaled down

"Tiffin is thought to be a variant of tiffing. It entered English in the late 1700s."
Bill Phillips: That's interesting. You tend to associate it with late 19th century and early 20th century writing. It is hardly ever heard now apart from some rather nice recipes that involve a lot of chocolate!
Auditioning for parts in "Singing In The Rain". Who would play whom I'm not sure, and the palm tree would have to do as the lamp post.
Bill Phillips: You wouldn't pay them in washers Pauline grin

Luclily the Tifflets are far enough in the distance so as to be not too threatening. Pychotifflet would benefit from a knotted handy.
Bill Phillips: Where would you put it?
I notice the front two Tifflets have pushed their somewhat larger relation towards the rear, he doesn't look quite as dapper as the other two.
Bill Phillips: He is a right scruffy 'erbert
This Tiffmas business is so boring, Bill, ufff
Bill Phillips: Oh it surely is JC

Bah Humbug smile
Bill Phillips: Quite!!
I think I'll vote for the dead stuff in your garden, Bill smile

Bill Phillips: Decidedly shifty Anne

Hi Bill, I've had a period of absence from SC so just catching up now. I love these Tifflets but I missed their initial appearances - can you point me to the date so I can go and have a look? I'll try to keep abreast of events in future!
Bill Phillips: The classic tifflets in Space dates back to 26 August 2010!
Are you sure haven't been taking pictures of the dead stuff in your garden?
Bill Phillips: Even my garden looks better than this Graeme
