This is rather good Bill. Good ole Gilbert and Sullivan, I think they invented Rap.
Bill Phillips: I have a great affection for G&S as I love good lyrics and W S Gilbert was a master
Love the pirate flag!!! Good find!!
Bill Phillips: I'm not sure flying this off the coast of Somalia would be a good idea though
Wonderful composition Bill...
i like the Jolly Roger on the back....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Great isn't it? Always thought Devon was full of pirates grin

Hhaha.. a bit different from what we were taught about pirate ships when I were a nipper! Thanks for the G&S link; my favourite smile
Bill Phillips: Yo ho ho and all that. I love G&S and Pirates is my favourite. Reminds of the line in Reggie Perrin when he says about his middle name being Iolanthe because his parents were G&S fans and that was the one they sawthe year he was born. Had it been the following year he would have been Reginald Pirates of Penzance Perrin

Eeee.. it's good to know that not all E numbers are bad for you.
Bill Phillips: Everything is bad for you
Hahaha... the pirate flag makes the image. I had such a great time as choreographer to a fine production of > The Pirates of Penzance years ago. Brings back lots of fun memories of silly guys. : )
Bill Phillips: It is my favourite G&S
A real pirate ship! Good find.
Bill Phillips: Pieces of eight and all that smile
Nice pirate boat, but I've heard better pirate kings smile
Bill Phillips: Well it is an Australian production so you have to make allowances

With that boat you will catch some oil tankers smile
Bill Phillips: Could be a good idea
This is another fine boat shot from lovely Beer, ideal place for these sort of images (: This is my favourite G.& S., there has been an Australian production (not this one) on TV.a couple of times that is superb, on Sky Arts I think.
Bill Phillips: The video was the first one that came up on you tube so I used it! I don't think he is anything special. My favourite G&S too
Great shot of this modern day pirate boat Bill. Have to be careful not to go too far abroad though
Bill Phillips: I am not a good sailor so around the bay would do me Janet
Great, Bill. Love the flag.
Bill Phillips: Good isn't it?
