All a bit pointless isn't it, no one seems to want to buy anything..
Bill Phillips: Perhaps they were at home shopping on line

And the shop is open? - the first customers have come - and soon the bench will be occupied by seniors or zimmer frame users ...I like the long shadows - it is evening? The only one tree might feel a bit lonely.
Bill Phillips: It was morning. There were more people about but they were sat outside the cafe out of view on the right

Sunday trading is all bit of a rush if you have to fit in a proper Sunday lunch, too. They should have normal opening hours. None of the shops I can identify here would have my business; they don't sell anything I want.
Bill Phillips: Our local Morrisons opens at 9.30 but the checkouts open at 10. This gives plenty of time to buy the week's shop and get back in time to have Sunday Lunch as we normally have our main Sunday meal in the evening, unless Helen and Andy are coming with Joseph in which case we have it early. Am I boring you?
I guess all people wanted was to sit outside the cafe, makes one wonder why the shops bother to open although it will probably pick up as Christmas gets nearer.
Bill Phillips: It must pay or they wouldn't do it I suppose
