Boats at Beer.

A delightful seaside resort in East Devon. It must be 50 years since I was last there!

One of my favourite places in the world - Beer.

It used to be my favourite drink too..
Bill Phillips: I can see why. It is a delight and it was good to go there after so many years.

Happily I can still drink beer but am no at the moment as I need to lose weight

Oh, Beer is Chris' favourite seaside resort - and I love this Boat Friday - and face the ladder!
Bill Phillips: I know he loves the place. Not hard to see why. I enjoyed going there after so many years.

Probably these boats were new on your last visit wink I had my first visit proper visit here back in July but I did cycle through the outskirts of the village on my way to Cornwall in 1965. I recall a puncture...
Bill Phillips: I don't think they were ever new. Nice place Beer. Great fish and chips....pensioners special with a pot of tea!

Co,e back in another fifty Bill.
Bill Phillips: I'll be 114.
Good shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much John
Love the shot and composition. I like the pebbly beaches that seem to be common in England.
Bill Phillips: We have a mix of beaches in the UK from white sand in Scotland to shingle, pebble and golden sand.
I LOVE this, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Than I am very happy Ginnie

A lovely picture - looks a lovely place to enjoy a pint of beer too smile
Bill Phillips: It is a delight. I can see why Chris loves it
I thought that was Beer Bill, as soon as I saw it. Nice memories
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely place. I will have to go again
It was pouring with rain when our coach driver took us here on Monday, I was so annoyed, at least I bought a new walking stick from one of the shops. We went on to Seaton for the trams and it was even worse so we had single deck trams one sits inside. Rant over I do like this, just what I was hoping to photograph.
Bill Phillips: Sorry you had rubbish weather. We didn't get to go to Seaton....another memory of childhood, but I don't think there were trams there then

They always have such super little boats on the beach there, Bill
Bill Phillips: It is a great part of the charm of the place isn't it Lisl?

Beer is a great beach to visit and the liquid version can be rather good as well.
Bill Phillips: I agree on both counts comrade

It doesn't seem to have changed much, Bill...this could have been shot in 2014.
