Oh, I recall these flowers blooming over and over in plenty along the English coasts - cosmea? I forgot the name or have to look at my webblogs. A wonderful photo!
Bill Phillips: Crocosmia Philine. These are Montbretia I think which is what I have always called(incorrectly) all Crocosmias
...pictures of flowers taken from the car window at 50 mph are the best, imho Bill!

You are right - now I recall this name of the flowers I saw in Devon and Cornwall along the roads - I took pictures of them, too, because I like their orange colour. I like your photo very much!
