Huh!

Where is Little Joe?
Bill Phillips: He is widely available on facebook
if your house is this grand Bill... then you'll have a maid to clean the bannisters....petersmile
Bill Phillips: But just think of the time you would have to spend keeping them up to scratch and doing it properly

Everything is a dust trap ... you should see the back of my tv
Bill Phillips: I would rather not thank you comrade

What an elegant staircase hall! I have the ability not to see dust - also in my apartment.
Bill Phillips: That is a great ability. I manage it in my "office" but Ange points it out to me grin

I should think to the master and mistress of the house such matters of dust were of no concern; the staff would have seen to that long before those "Upstairs" saw them.
Bill Phillips: I would probably been one of the staff.

As you say, very pleasing on the senses so long as someone else does the dusting.
Bill Phillips: If you spent all your time dusting it you wouldn't have time to enjoy it

You nicked this off your clever little chum, Mr Piggy, and gave him your glorious effort in return.
Bill Phillips: Piggy and I collaborate very closely
I wouldn't worry about the dust. The staff will take care of that.
Bill Phillips: I bet I would have been one of the staff!
B&W show up the details excellently, Bill. Love the dinner gong.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pauline. B&W gives a whole different perspective
Nice composition and lighting Bill, a good feel to this
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly John
Looks as if they have the same dust trap on the upstairs mezzanine, Bill. They do have a grand entrance with that curved decorated ceiling and tiled floor, though.
Bill Phillips: It should impress the guests Beverly
Fine details...
This appears to be a rather splendid hallway Bill.
Come on, now, Bill - we know this is your country pad smile

I read this very quickly at first Bill, and thought you said the bannisters were a death trap! Suppose they could be if you got your leg stuck through and then sort of twisted and almost fell downstairs and in the process broke your neck.... Don't try that at home!
Now I'm going to google Berrington Hall as it looks great.
It is lovely - I imagine it keeps plenty of folks employed...
