Droitwich Lions Club 10

One of the nicest parts of what we do is giving money to good causes. I don't know exactly how much we have raised in the 29+ years to date but it has to be about £250,000. Which reflects well on the generosity of the people of a small town like Droitwich.

Excellent, Bill.

You would need a big coat pocket to accommodate that chequebook!
Bill Phillips: You should see the pen mate!
Bravo!!! to the Droitwich Lions Club Bill and to you for your dedication as well....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Peter.I have enjoyed it

That is amazing, Droitwich and the Lions club can be very proud. Great set of pictures.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Lady P. It has kept me out of mischief
So, when it rains in Droitwich, good things flourish! Your collage packs a wallop...good symbolism for what you've achieved over time, Bill.

It is a fine measure of generosity in a community like Droitwich that makes it worth living there
Bill Phillips: They are generous folk. This is an earthly paradise

And the ladies are also very active as I can see, Angela belongs to them as I can see ...
Philanthropy is a big main noun in England and in particular in Droitwich!
Bill Phillips: Without the ladies we would not have achieved half as much Philine

A great achievement, Bill - you should all be so proud
Bill Phillips: Thanks Lisl. I am proud of what the club has achieved. How much longer we can go on I don't know. Half the members are in their seventies now and attracting new members is not easy
Well done to all concerned, great generosity by all in Droitwich and to you too for your dedication Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Scotia. The people have supported us well and we are well known in the town now.

An achievement to be really proud of and such a pleasure when you know that your effort and generosity has been gratefully received.
Bill Phillips: We have been able to help some great local organisations and also a fair number of people directly
Well done the Droitwich Lions. An excellent amount raised. Smiling faces all round.
Bill Phillips: I just get the to say cheese Pauline grin
I commented just yesterday on the good work the Lions Club does.
Bill Phillips: You did indeed Mary. It is a great organisation across the world
Excellent Bill!
Congratulations to Droitwich Lions Club.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Richard
Admirable work, Bill and a fine collage to illustrate the range of support given smile
Bill Phillips: It is nice to be able to hand over a cheque or some item that is needed

Well done to your and your colleagues and also to the people of Droitwich. Just think, though, if they didn't need to spend so much on raincoats and umbrellas how much you could have raised wink
Bill Phillips: A sobering thought Alan. Mind you in Bath they are probably in danger of going bankrupt as it rains all the time

Not much evidence of the rain that your 'friends' keep going on about. Hope you get some sales tomorrow if the weather really goes the Tiff way.
Bill Phillips: On the whole we have been very lucky with the weather. Tomorrow looks like it could be an exception!
You should all be very proud of yourselves, I know the sum of money is important but in the end it is the caring for others less fortunate that rally matters.
Bill Phillips: What does the advert say? "Every little helps" smile
You cup runeth over Bill.
Bill Phillips: It does Michael.....usually down the front of my shirt

Bill Phillips: I am beginning to think pople are thinking I am blowing my own trumpet. I'm glad tomorrow sees the end of the series
