Henley -in-Arden

Some of you will be familiar with Henley in Arden. This small town boasts some very fine buildings and the Church of St John the Baptist is just one of the churches.

Although the 1.6 mile long main street is a conservation area the town only seems to date back to the 13th Century and is not mentioned in the Doomsday book.

The Ice cream made here is very good

You could have said this was Droitwich, Bill
Bill Phillips: But it would not have been true Lisl
A well matching set, great feel to these. Telegraph online yesterday: World Cup 2014: Brazil fans blame 'curse of Mick Jagger' for their 7-1 defeat to Germany
Bill Phillips: The poor bloke only went to see the match!

What a beautiful place, Bill. Always handy to know where you can get good ice cream.
Bill Phillips: It comes highly recommended Pauline
I am always amazed there are no people in your street shots. Do you clone them out or do they run when they see you?
Bill Phillips: Neither but the latter is more likely Mary
Wow. You put together a great collage here Bill
Bill Phillips: Thank you Janet
What a joy it must be to live in such a picturesque & charming town. You've certainly made it look inviting, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is very nice....and a very expensive place to live!
Nice hdr, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Tom.

It all looks very genteel. I can remember the A34 going through there - long before the M40, of course.
Bill Phillips: I can too Alan.
A wonderful presentation of this superb place Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard. It is a delightful little town
Looks a real nice place Bill. Maureen always tells me off if I haven't got people in shots like these, apart from the church interior. BTW why do some people keep getting two copies of your comments, most strange, it seems to be quite random?
Bill Phillips: I think my mouse is having a nervous breakdown Brian and I have ordered a new one from Amazon. I don't want people in pictures like these
