Well you squeezed out every bit of colour and texture that you could capture on this not very nice afternoon Alan...petersmile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Peter. It is a beautiful place

and so did you Bill... Duhh!

Bill Phillips: Hahahahahaha
The not very nice afternoon produced some amazing clouds for your image!!!
Bill Phillips: Those clouds produced some amazing rain grin

Whatever the weather Fowey gets my vote as a lovely place to be
Bill Phillips: Agreed Chris. It was getting late and the rain was threatening (it arrived!) so we only had a quick look. Will go back!

Cornwall in the rain can be very atmospheric, as you have shown, Bill
Bill Phillips: It can indeed Lisl smile

but the Cornish hillscape and harboursite looks very nice! I love Fowey and its surroundings - a fine area for walking along the cliff paths and for photographers like you!
Bill Phillips: We didn't have long here Philine but will go back for a proper visit one day

This is a place i,ve never visited before....,great picture sir
Bill Phillips: One to put on the list Shane. We were only there for a short while as it rained and it was getting late. Will go back for a proper visit!
But my kind of skies, Bill. It's amazing how many boats are out there!
Bill Phillips: It is a very busy harbour Ginnie

The river leads the eye in to the moors beyond. Nice composition. HDR ;o(
Bill Phillips: Agreed. I might do a b&w from one image and stick it on Mr Pig
We always go to Sams Bistro in Fowey and had some wonderful mussels there recently. Lovely shot Bill
Bill Phillips: That sounds like my sort of place Janet!
Not a patch on Teignmouth, by the way your HDR is awful.
Bill Phillips: The light was dead flat and dull, I might revisit this from a single image in b&w ...if I can be bothered.

This had the potential for a NICE photo Bill. What are you doing to zem?
Bill Phillips: This might have been a decent picture on a decent day when there was some light
You made a great shot of a grey day, Bill.
Glad you want to give it another go.
Bill Phillips: Fowey is well worth another visit
Lovely shot and the weather looks fine.
Bill Phillips: It poured down shortly after

It doesn't look so nice with all those sheddy clouds drifting in.
Bill Phillips: It poured down shortly afterwards, sheddy clouds or nogrin
your treatment and presentation certainly make it look very nice though Bill.
Bill Phillips: Hello Ayush! Long time no see.
Your special treatment makes this scene very appealing to the eye, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Beverly
A nice memory from this image when Maureen and I sat on the verandah of a restaurant above the estuary at Fowey and enjoyed a really excellent fresh Mackerel salad.
Bill Phillips: We will go again when we have more time and it isn't about to pour down!
A really good vantage point. I remember hiring a motor boat here back in the seventies and exploring the estuary
Bill Phillips: I would think that was very enjoyable John

Still looks lovely, though, despite the weather. Judging by the solar calls, it looks like Cornwall now has electricity.
Bill Phillips: It is quite something Alan and warrants a longer visit
A fabulous atmospheric shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard
Truly nice place and capture ! Wow !
Bill Phillips: It is beautiful Bruno
