The Lynn has quite less water than at the time when I was there -and where are the three stooges and the pointing finger?
Bill Phillips: Happily they were out of the way Philine

I can remember my nan telling me of her visit to Lynmouth in 1953, just a year after the floods and showing me photos she had bought there showing the damage. Difficult to relieve the strength of those waters looking at this. What a beautiful day.
Bill Phillips: I had a book in our book sale stock with photographs and the story of the floods. Hard to believe looking at this
It's a lovely place, Bill. Wish we had that weather now instead of it being cold and grey.
Bill Phillips: It is the same here today Pauline. We were quite lucky with our week in the cottage
I noticed in the other pictures that you were all wearing jackets so it must have been cool. Great spot for those houses up above.
Bill Phillips: It was very cool early in the mornings and got warmer through the day
I remember pictures of the floods back then,it is a long time since I visited here. Nice shot, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely place Frank. The floods were horrendous
A lovely composition, Bill. You've captured the good weather feel beautifully.
Bill Phillips: It was glorious Beverly
It is a delightful stroll along this side of the river, and yes, it is difficult to imagine what it would have been like when these gentle waters turned nasty.
Bill Phillips: It is hard to imagine looking at this but it was a great disaster
A lovely perspective shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Richard
I expected to seep Chad paddling in the stream!
Bill Phillips: That would have been a sight to behold Tom
It looks so perfect, its hard to imagine it was in the winter, rather than summer.
Bill Phillips: It was very cold early mornings but it soon got pleasantly warm

Must have felt like wading in to cool off, Bill.
