Great shot and I don't mind if already 10 million people took this picture. I like it.
Look at the way the boats want to get in and the cars want to get OUT wink
Bill Phillips: An none of them going anywhere Lady P
The eye bis taken straight into the heart of the image via the river outlet. Cracking shot and treatment Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Scotia, Lynmouth is a delight

Bill Phillips: It looks truly dreadful on my laptop screen Lial

"since God's dog was a puppy"- what a funny phrase and imagination - yes, in England God is likely to own a dog and you know 'dog spelt backwards ...." - another funny phrase - sorry, your picture cannot compete with these nice English phrases, but it is a lovely view I did take, too, when I strolled along the coast of Lynmouth.
Bill Phillips: It is an expression our Kathryn uses Philine

But you can see why can't you, the geometry of it all and the light make it a vista to behold
Bill Phillips: Indeed so Chris.
Just like Lisl said, no one has done it like you, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Hahahahahahahaha

Ah yes Bill - but how many have processed it like this?

On a more serious note - ban the cars!
Bill Phillips: I agree about the cars. I might do a series of versions of this...if I can be bothered grin

I guess lots of people have taken it because its a great composition!
Bill Phillips: It just has to be taken.
2 weeks in Mallorca without getting a headache after seeing your pictures.
Bill Phillips: You should stay longer and then I will be feeling perfect
And with good reason! It's a great view, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: It is rather good
Every photo is a moment never repeated. All those others did not have a person in a red shirt for instance. Very nice shot of a popular spot.
Bill Phillips: Funny you should say that. That is a statue

Oh, you are still doing that funny business with your photographs Bill. Pity really because this could have been a really good one.
Bill Phillips: No this is straight out of the computer Chad
I like the image.
Bill Phillips: That is very pleasing Kacquelyn
None were treated and presented like this I bet. Wonderful composition!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Beverly
This is lovely Bill..
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely place Ronky
Interesting treatment, seems as though the camera had the sun in its eyes smile
Bill Phillips: It had been drinking
Indeed I have posted at least two version of this myself over the years but it is difficult to avoid taking it.
Bill Phillips: I have posted pictures of it before too Brian
They are all waiting for the tide Bill!
Bill Phillips: The cars or the boats richard?

Funnily enough I have similar views but I was now in the harbour itself. Ginnie makes good points.
Bill Phillips: I could have tried to be original....but,.....whatever

So, if I understand you correctly, each photographer request that the stop is pulled in this tub, so (s)he can take a picture. For some reason hidden in the mists of my past, I didn't do that. I can see the establishment where we stayed the night, when we were in the area.
Bill Phillips: There are also a lot of pictures before the plug is pulled out Louis
Love your take on it Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Janet
Good treatment Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks John, I think the sky is overcooked!
