After a fine breakfast we finally set off for Lynton and Lynmouth. As you approach the view down to the towns is just wonderful so we stopped to look. What do these silly burgers do? Take a picture of the cat's eyes. I give up

I recall this wonderful Western coast filled with intense blue blue blue - and your lovelovely ly blue photo reminds me of this memory! I recently discovered the cat's eyes on Chad's blog. You continue Chad's series of pointing fingers? Only Richard seems to have one of them?
Bill Phillips: Trim seems to be pointing at something all the time.
Bill cats eyes are legendary on SC I'm still traumatised from chads series years ago. They must have something similar. smile
Bill Phillips: I have been trying to forget them Scotia

I actually like the composition here, it shows our devotion to cat's eyes after all these years since Mr Dufftown's epic series..
Bill Phillips: Well it certainly shows something.

He really does do a lot of pointing! Chad seems unconvinced that it is the genuine article and Tiff looks away in embarrassment!
Bill Phillips: Mr finger......
I'd like to think this photo journal you're keeping, Bill, will go down in history (as opposed to up, of course).
Bill Phillips: It has been going down since it started Ginnie

So,e of us were brought up proper and taught that it is rude to point. I like your special treatment that makes our clothing look shabby and unwashed Bill.
Bill Phillips: I thought it was shabby and unwashed
Funny......they look like they've lost it grin
Bill Phillips: They lost it long ago Martin
A study in blue. The colour is wonderful here.
Bill Phillips: And it was in real life too Mary!

Oh, I thought they are taking pictures of a skink that Chad ran over.
Bill Phillips: What is a skink?
wow Bill... This must have been an amazing trip!
So much blue here!
Bill Phillips: It was a great trip ronky
Judging by the level of excitement we see coming from Mr. Trim, Bill, cat's eyes must be a rare and wonderful thing to encounter.
Bill Phillips: Trim is simply barking mad Beverly

Skinks are lizards belonging to the family Scincidae. Together with several other lizard families, including Lacertidae, they comprise the superfamily or infraorder Scincomorpha.

See trusty Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skink

Lol....did you go on the cable car .....wheres the rest of the cat ???? smile
Bill Phillips: We did indeed as you will see later! The cat's whereabouts are unknown grin
I hope Mr.Dufftown will ignore that reminder from Lord Trim's pointed finger of his epic cats eye series, and of how splendid it was. Sadly that sort of thing can never be repeated to the same standard can it! well can it?
Bill Phillips: It cannot, and indeed should not ever be repeated Brian. Had it never happened at all would be even better
Hum, hum, was Richard doing any suggestion to Chad?
Bill Phillips: He is always making suggestions to Chad.

Your photo reminds me also of the magic (really) blue ocean at Tintagel - Artus' country, of course - I hope the Germans were behaving well!
Bill Phillips: Of course they were; and two of them gave Joseph a big smile!
So very 'Last of the Summer Wine ish'. Are you to produce the new series perchance.
Bill Phillips: It has crossed my mind. It could only be an improvement on the later series of the original grin
