Soggysetshire

The end of day 1. As darkness falls the hotel looks warm and inviting. I went to bed at a reasonable hour and drifted into a contented sleep, only to wake up at about 2am with excruciating cramp in my left leg. All this walking is clearly overrated

Oh, poor Bill - but I can see the success of the 'overrated walking'- you looks slimmer and trimmer than ever before!
Bill Phillips: I have lost 5 pounds so far Philine!

Walking is good for your health. Producing pictures in proper focus is good for your reputation
Bill Phillips: This is expressing that bleary eyed tiredness at the end of a busy day.

It does look inviting. The secret of walking is to build up gradually I fear. Hope you got back to sleep ok!
Bill Phillips: You would enjoy it I think Mike. I didn't, had a read and got up at about 5am

2pm? You would have missed breakfast... and lunch wink You sure it was the walking that caused that issue and not too much gin? This location does look very inviting.
Bill Phillips: Well spotted Alangrin
I'm glad you didn't wake up with a cramp today, Bill. I can hardly wait to see what YOUR RAF images will look like. smile
Bill Phillips: Don't hold your breath Ginnie they aren't very exciting. A couple of collages on Mr Pig tomorrow and Wednesday
If you were in bed who took this.
Bill Phillips: I went to bed after I took this mediocre offering Michael
Looks cosy and inviting........good to meet you yesterday, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Yes it was good to meet you too Martin. I can recommend this place!
Oh, poor you. I have never had one of these charley horses but have seen people in the throes.
Bill Phillips: Very painful Mary!

I currently walk around 130kms per month (last month 167km) and drink Slow Mag almost daily to keep from cramping. And they can ... some days both at once. So far the Slow Mag seems to be working.
Bill Phillips: So that's about 4 km a day then. That doesn't sound too bad
A fine end to the day with this image Bill...please take it easy
Bill Phillips: That's my trouble Ronky I take it easy too much

I have to take my stover off to you Bill. Of all the stooges who went on this trip, you were the most serious about photography. I know it is blurred because it was dark and your hand was shaking but, where were the others?

ps You MUST get fit.
Bill Phillips: In the pub probably

It will be a long job
Oh, poor you Bill. I told you the Land Rover would have been the solution...
Quite an inviting image.
Bill Phillips: It was OK coming down it was the going up I needed the Land Rover!
Lovely shot, Bill - it didn't seem to limit your progress around Cosford smile
Bill Phillips: I did my back the morning of Cosford! I am now really starting to feel it!

I believe you might have been falling over as you hit the shutter, Bill!
Bill Phillips: I was tired, it was dark and it is hand held.....yes it is also a rubbish picture

There's nothing worse than cramp in the middle of the night, is there Bill? It's the one thing that can make me cry out loud with pain.
Bill Phillips: It was very painful and had me hopping about!
