Soggysetshire

This is the dining room where we breakfasted. The table we had was the one top left in front of the large mirror. Here we fuelled ourselves for the day to come and enjoyed intelligent conversation when we were quiet enough to hear other people talking.

We planned our day with great care....oh alright we didn't

Oh, I recall you waiting for the full breakfast. I see that there is also a chair of Little Joseph. Like him I would like to stay one day in this posh, noble hotel Chad might have choiced out. As child he was not able to enjoy such delicacies according to his memoirs.
Bill Phillips: It is the most unusual place Philine and a total delight

This isn't quite the way I remember our dining room - however I would generously adjudge your picture to be "creative & interesting."
Bill Phillips: This is exactly as it was....open your eyes man!

Blimey; it all looks rather grand and palatial. It;s not a Travelodge, is it? They obviously had not heard of you lot when they accepted the booking. I wonder what the Hotel Inspector would make of it all? She would probably want the wall stripped of the decorations and painted grey and the carpets ripped out.
Bill Phillips: This is a proper hotel. We don't want any TV makeovers
Looks as though they had the ceiling lowered to the height of the picture rail - pity smile
Bill Phillips: I think it has more to do with this being a bad photograph Tom

What an amazing ceiling - it looks like its from a horror movie set! Or is this just your HDR whiffling that is confusing reality?
Bill Phillips: I'll give you three guesses

Those fluoro tube lights bugger up a nice scene, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Health and safety. Emergency lighting
As much to see here as in the lobby. Unless it is meant to be grey, the ceiling needs a lick of paint.
Bill Phillips: No it was grey Mary.....honest
I would certainly enjoy having my breakfast served in this dining room, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It was a very pleasant place to start the day Beverly
Interesting color scheme - I wonder how long it's been this color?
Bill Phillips: Since it was last painted Elizabeth grin
This hotel certainly has some character, indeed four extra characters whilst you lot were in residence smile
Bill Phillips: I thought we were the right sort of guests Brian

It weren't like this when I sat in the room ... there were actually people in it. Ha ha
Bill Phillips: That was you
Not my type of colour but i like the perspective here Bill!
Bill Phillips: Strangely enough it worked somehow when you were actually in the room.
