Soggysetshire

Well here we are bowling along the Soggysetshire lanes with old Ridge Guteridge at the wheel. He had an unusual Sat Nav which suddenly announced that it had finished for the day and was off to cook her husband's dinner

Ooooh a Lexus - You'd think for the price the hired help would be round the clock
Bill Phillips: I don't think his satnav had a clue where we were E

i have no idea what a Sat Nav is Bill... but the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the cargrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Satellite navigation Peter. How did we ever mange before? I used to carry a box of street maps in the car!
Those sat nav's are getting assertive...
Bill Phillips: Mine sulks if you go the wrong way
perhaps you guys managed just fine, with Chris (is it?) riding shotgun... smile
Bill Phillips: It is Chris who knew the way better than the Satnav

Bill Phillips: We are very proper people Philine

SatNavs will eventually exterminate us and take over the world Chad - the process, via your stroppy one, is starting..
Bill Phillips: The trouble is most people now follow the satnav to a place they couldn't find on a map
Here's me thinking the sat nav would be multitasking as my good lady keeps telling me she is much better at multitasking than me smile)
Bill Phillips: This is true of all women Scotia

Probably took exception to the previous smutty joke...
Bill Phillips: We don't tell smutty jokes............wink
LOL, Bill. Astrid's Sat Nav is contantly telling her that maybe she can turn around (since I'm always making her go back for a photo op)!! grin
Bill Phillips: Turn around when possible smile

There is a semblance of truth in what you say Bill.
Bill Phillips: I always speak the truth:except when I don't

You just cant get the staff these days Bill - poor old Ridge, he'll have to rely on Tiffo for directions.
Bill Phillips: Tiffo is better than a Sat Nav Mike
So you just went round in circles all day.
Bill Phillips: Nothing new in that Mick

I see you travelled in comfort, Bill
Bill Phillips: Comfortable but my car is easier to get in and out of grin
You should have selected the male option of the SatNav, Bill
Bill Phillips: I tried that on mine and it was really irritating!
Did the sat nav find ice cream vans, Bill?
Bill Phillips: That was Tiff he has a 6th sense for ice cream

I am always waiting for my SatNav to start cursing, when I go right and she told me to go left grin....
Bill Phillips: I would program it to say "at the end of the road turn right, then, you are on your own! "
I can't tell you how funny it is to see a steering wheel on the right.
Bill Phillips: We think the same about them being on the wrong (or left) side.
I turn the sound off my sat-nav, otherwise I'd have thrown it out the window ages ago grin
Bill Phillips: I talk to mine
This seems to be a pleasant comfy car Bill!
Bill Phillips: Driven with great skill to ensure the passengers were relaxed at all times Richard

Great comment by Elizabeth. The help taking time off - heh, heh. Gotta check the working agreement.
Bill Phillips: The Americans are very demanding Louis. We Brits are far more laid back
Are you always relegated to the back seat when Chad is driving, Bill?
Bill Phillips: No some of the time I sat in the front. Richard seemed happy to be in the back all the time!

I thought you have climbed into a car with some Russian oligarchs. Despite working for somewhere that has something to do with maps, I do like a satnav, especially when driving through unknown places.
Bill Phillips: I like my SatNav and just wish it had been around for so many of the years I was a rep
hahaha nice one Bill!
I don't have a Sat Nav... i use my phone to navigate me! easier and better!
Bill Phillips: I have a Tom Tom and it is very good

Bet you passed the same signpost 3 times smile
Bill Phillips: None of us would have noticed shane
I'm the satnav in our car, even if we had one Maureen still wouldn't take any notice and would go where she thinks is the right direction. Don't tell her I said that!
Bill Phillips: I like my Tom Tom...so to speak!

Our sat nav is exceedingly patient, she has to "recalculate" a lot bless her
Bill Phillips: and don't they do it quickly grin
