I can tell that you weren't a naughty boy at school
Bill Phillips: Ummmm................
I agree with Hollie here, that was my forts impression looks very 50ish like looking at myself lots of years ago.
Bill Phillips: I was a mere lad of about 13 Scotia!
The age of innocence, Bill. Is this the original selfie?
Bill Phillips: It could be but it was taken by my Dad
Nice boats.
Bill Phillips: Yeah
What a great shot, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: It took my dad a long time to take a picture

At 13 I was not allowing anyone to take my photograph. Successfully avoided the annual school photo as well as any aunts and uncles may have tried to take!
Bill Phillips: I think I was bribed
Wonderful old picture. That's not a forced smile - really genuine.
Bill Phillips: My dad took it. He was great fun

This is great, and evocative of the blissful, innocent pre-internet days, which sometimes I wish we could return to, but it will take some sort of disaster I suppose to wipe all that out.
(not that I'm implying you were innocent, Bill - there's a knowingness in that cheeky grin!)
Bill Phillips: We were all innocent in those days!
I don't know why you avoided having your picture taken, Bill, you were very photogenic.
Bill Phillips: You are my new best friend grin
