In German we have the phrase "Mir fällt die Decke auf den Kopf"/ I have cabin fever (a phrase Mary used recently on her blog) - and this photo looks like an illustration of this phrase- but a bit cosier and homelier thanks to your darkening and intense twiddling.
Bill Phillips: It looks cosier in colour.....but not much

Steady on Bill - a twiddle too far I fear - too much time on your hands again!
Bill Phillips: This is modest compared with some of the stuff on HDR sites on facebook!

I can just picture you and Ange sat round the table reminiscing about the "good old days" of the plaque and the Black Death; simple pleasures.
Bill Phillips: Skinning a rabbit for the pot

I seem to be one of the few who thinks this is an excellent image Bill, your treatment really does age this really well.
Bill Phillips: Mixed reviews Brian. Par for the course grin
Is the ceiling low or the table very high Bill? I like the textures!
Bill Phillips: Ceiling is low..people were shorter

Your treatment has brought out the room's austerity. I particularly like the effect on the table and chairs
