Looks like The Big Wet will be no problem for our Bill from now on...
Bill Phillips: Has it been raining then?
Good fun,Bill, hours to be spent, just don't let the kids near it.
Bill Phillips: I could have played all day!
Oh if Frank could be there...
Bill Phillips: I suspect he would be in a crowd E. smile
Your engineering skills obviously know no bounds. HS2 next?
Bill Phillips: HS3 for me. High speed from Droitwich to the bacon buttie cafe on the Clent Hills

Good GRIEF - he's going to grow up to be another Brunel if you encourage him like this!
Bill Phillips: Yhat would be fine as long as he doesn't wear a stovepipe hat

Blimey you must have spent an arm and a leg on this lot. We bought the same stuff from IKEA for our grandchildren but only had enough bits of track for a couple of loops.
Bill Phillips: We were given this by some friends. It had been their grandson's and they wouldn't take anything for it. Luckily he was doing a charity head shave so we were able to sponsor him.

Brilliant! Wasted on children, though! You need now to add a few tree trunks across the tracks and have a lake in one corner submerging the track. Perhaps your grandson could help start filling the lake...?
Bill Phillips: A collapsing sea wall would be good. I would fill a train with LEGO politicians and send them down the track

I admire Joseph's skills -a wonderful toy of railway for the littles and the bigges!
Bill Phillips: He's going to love this when he is a bit older!

Chris, Frank, Alan, Brian etc. would like to join you and Joseph!
Bill Phillips: I might charge admission Philine
Brio train sets are brilliant, this lot is worth a small fortune .Keep it under lock and key when not out.
Bill Phillips: We couldn't believe how much there was! Joseph is a very lucky lad to be given all this

I can see the hours and hours of fun you, Joseph and the cat are going to have with this. Great job.
Bill Phillips: Will have to wait until he is a bit bigger but I think he will enjoy it!
Lucky Joe having you for grandpa
Bill Phillips: Lucky me having such generous friends Janet.

Looks like you could get a job with Network Rail!
Bill Phillips: I would make a better job of it than some of them Mike grin
What a fabulous gift to have received for Joseph and for you, too, Bill. Will you be allowed to let it sit there indefinitely or will you have to disassemble the whole thing and put it away?
Bill Phillips: We kept it down for a couple of days but, for now, it is back in the box!
I'm glad you realised that the cat had much more important matters to attend to smile
Bill Phillips: Beneath her dignity to undertake manual labour
Good gracious it's a big layout isn't it, we had a small one given to us, about a third the size of this. Now what's your address again smile
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha Hours of fun in store Brian

I hope that Joseph will join you soon smile
Bill Phillips: I might let him have a go grin
Well done indeed Bill! I bet Joe enjoyed it.
Bill Phillips: He isn't all that interested yet....mind you he isn't quite 6 months old
Paradise on the carpet, Bill
Bill Phillips: I couldn't put it better JC

2 hours putting it together, then how many hours spent playing? Are you allowed to keep it in place?
Bill Phillips: We left it down for a couple of days and then, reluctantly, put it away. Ange was enjoying it as much as I was!
Hidden talents come to the fore.
Bill Phillips: It might have been better if they hadn't
A lot of chuffing to be done here, well done.
Bill Phillips: I'll be well and truly chuffed John
looks good Bill, next item to be assembled: doll house!grin
Bill Phillips: I did doll's houses when my daughters were little!
