photoblog image Boat Friday

Boat Friday

This is where the canal runs by the new Marina. I was going to show a picture of the new marina but the ones I took were rubbish so you get to see these nice reed things instead.

Bill Phillips: I do but it worked better in b&w for me Ayush

This one looks great. Love your POV and the crop. The tall grass (reeds?) makes a good picture.

I can somehow sense a colorful narrowboat coasting into these reeds very gently, Bill. How idyllic. Nothing rubbish about THAT!
Bill Phillips: They do travel gently along here Ginnie. It is not a rushing about pastime

Seen enough boats and Droitwiches for this Friday. So I like your reedy things. Excellent composition as well.
Bill Phillips: The misrepresentation of Droitwich continues sadly Louis
Makes an attractive waterside border. Nice shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Janet
Love this Bill! nice effects
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ronky. Have a great weekend
I find it difficult to comprehend that you, of all people took rubbish pictures young man. You usually seem to suggest that it is your friend? from the North who does that smile Actually I rather like this,a boat would spoil it.
Bill Phillips: My northern friend thinks all my pictures are rubbish Brian. I KNOW some of the are grin
Yes this is rubbish as well.I will show you how to do it tomorrow.
Bill Phillips: I find your self effacing modesty is your most endearing quality Michael

Are the heads still proud of the water, I wonder? I learnt from Chris that Droitwich always has wet weather. Looks good, though.
Bill Phillips: In a normal year we get less we days than Bath does. This year Somerset has drowned and Worcester is in danger of sinking without trace. Droiters is very soggy but, so far, we are not having a repeat of 2007
Now there's a novelty - a boatless Boat Friday!
Bill Phillips: I do my best
Very nice Valentine's Day capture.
Good b&w Bill
