You clearly don't have to worry about Mr. Shaw, based on the other comments, Bill.

You have also reminded me of that "lump it" expression from my childhood...something we often said to each other: "If you don't like it, you can lump it!" Oh my. Does that ever bring back the memories. grin
Bill Phillips: I never worry about Mr Shaw. If he said anything nice....then I would worry grin

You love the golden hours - and you have a golden heart! It must have been very sunny in the Midlands (incl. Droitwitch).
Bill Phillips: In between the downpours there has been a little sunshine. Worcester is now flooded and the water is at the levels of 2007 and expected to go higher

to lump it - I have learnt a new phrase today! Thank you, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Yes like it or lump it is a fine old expression Philine
What a masterpiece, it should be hung from a tree with you next to it.
Bill Phillips: We could hang it from your miserable bridge picture.
I like the reflection and colours Bill wink
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Martin

Whether Mr Shaw approves or dissaproves Bill, that is a matter of personal taste. As for me I can declare that this deserves an emoticon giving up 'thumbs up'.
Bill Phillips: I am delighted you like it Ridge.

I'd say you might have experienced sunburn with the bright sun causing the yellow glow on the sea.
Bill Phillips: It was gloriously sunny for a short while....

Good to see you teaching Philine new phrases. The "wharf" looks a little too functional; it needs some old quarried stone really.
Bill Phillips: Low budget job I imagine Alan

Stunning treatment of the water!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Bonnie.
Certainly a very strange treatment Bill, colour and B.& W.it seems, just right for my club's "Altered Images" competition later in the year, not that I'm suggesting I'd pinch it of course.
Bill Phillips: You can have it mate grin
lovely reflections here Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Ronky
Sorry , Bill this treatment doesn't work for me,I do like the shot though, each to his own. smile
Bill Phillips: Indeed so Frank. I don't like quite a lot of my pictures
Remarkable...
Bill Phillips: That is certainly one word for it. Actually it is one word
Very nice abstract with these unusual tones Bill!
Bill Phillips: I had a bit of a twiddle Richard

I can't make my mind up about this one - love the reflecting water but the whole left side makes me think I have mislaid my glasses

hang on, I have mislaid my glasses. V nice
Bill Phillips: I am in slightly blurred mode. I need new glasses so I can't really tell how blurred it is
Perhaps just a tad over the top, Bill smile
