Hampton Court Castle

Not to be confused with the Hampton Court palace in London. This is Hampton Court Castle in Herefordshire.  And very nice it is too. Well worth a visit if you are in the area

Wonderful composition. I love the blue sky reflecting in the table and the lion-lamp is a winner...
Bill Phillips: I would rather like to have the lamp Lady P...you can guess why grin

I this Herefordshire is a charming & somewhat mysterious county so if I was near here I would be delighted to visit
Bill Phillips: We haven't explored Herefordshire as much as we should considering it is our neighbouring county!

A fine image that also looks good in greyscale Bill.

Would hvae worked well in B&W too. You have perfected the 'light through the stately home window' to perfection.
Bill Phillips: It was going to be but the reflected blue in the table appealed to me
The lighting is spot on, for me, Bill! Love the reflection and sumptuous feel smile
Bill Phillips: It was the reflection that made it for me Martin

It has shiny tables.
Bill Phillips: It does indeed and if I had someone to keep it shiny I would love a table like it!

Its a good one, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you sir
Superb composition with the reflections Bill!
Bill Phillips: Hello richard. I have just been commenting on your picture!
Nicely captured Bill, I must make more use of my NT/EH memberships this year.
Bill Phillips: It isn't either NT or EH and is privately run John.
With amazing reflections like those, Bill, I thought at first this was a glass table top. I can understand why you would want to have that marvelous lamp. What a beauty!
Bill Phillips: I have been a member of our local Lions club for nearly 30 years Beverly
