photoblog image Droitwich in January

Droitwich in January

A view looking down from St augustine's Church. Here you can see Vines Lane in the foreground and behind it Vines park flanked by the River Salwarpe and the canal. The White topped building is the mighty emporium that is the Waitrose supermarket.

It looks so warm. Are these deciduous leaves in the right corner? Very nice shot.
Bill Phillips: This has been a very warm wet winter Mary
I really like the atmosphere with this sky Bill!
Bill Phillips: It is rather a nice sky
A very nice view of a fine looking English town, it must be very upmarket with a Waitrose, there isn't even one of them in Lougborough. Droitwich was on the Michael Portillo programme briefly last night, the weather while he filmed was quite spectacular, I'd been led to believe by an unnamed person it always rains there, who can I believe?
Bill Phillips: We were out last night so I have downloaded Portillo. I seldom go into waitrose..we use Morrisons and Aldi! We had torrential rain this afternoon along with thunder and lightning!
very sci-fi Bill
Bill Phillips: Beam me up JC

Very bright and colourful - I am beginning to wonder about the dull and dismal Droitwich that Chris and Chad are so fond of
Bill Phillips: They are the spreaders of untruth
