What a cozy room Bill... it would be great to sit under this round window and read a book or two....petersmile
Bill Phillips: There are two chairs Peter and I would be happy to share....if only it were my house grin
I have to disagree with Peter about the room. This is such a good shot, though... that it smells old and musty to me, it feels cold and the light is depressing. So... well done Bill! I hope this isn't your house...
Bill Phillips: I wish it was my house E. I love the shadows and the round window, I could sit in that chair with a glass of red and a good book and happily doze off grin

A wonderful atmospheric picture. And I agree with Elizabeth... not very inviting, the window should be from floor to ceiling, then we are talking grin....
Bill Phillips: Arrrggggh! I love this round window and the soft light . Sitting in that nice chair with a book and a large glass of wine....what could be better? grin

Another view of your home? I think if all the tree-hugging greenies have their way we'll be living in the Dark Ages again before long. A happy reminder of Brian Cant(?).
Bill Phillips: I wish, probably, yes wasn't it Playschool?
very nice Bill, I like what you've done with light
Bill Phillips: I an obliged to you JC
Judging from the depth of the window, Bill, the walls appear to be quite thick. Really like how you've captured that bit of light that is falling on the tufted leather chair and the bottom half of the chest.
Bill Phillips: These old houses were built to last Beverly smile

Well I'd be quite happy to join you in this room with a good book and a glass of red.
