I like the puddle navigation capable bicycle in the foreground, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Aqua bikes are essential in Bath Ray

I can agree with you - when I was in Bath, it was raining - "water is the best", I could read there - Bath is a famous watery town, even the Romans knew that.
Bill Phillips: The statistics show that Bathe has many more wet days in a year than does Droitwich
beautiful shot. love the softly clouded sky
Bill Phillips: Plenty of rain came from those soft clouds Ayush

You must have had a hosepipe with you Bill. A very good composition I have to say, not often do we see it taken from this angle. I like the paving slabs in the foreground.
Bill Phillips: Bath has many more wet days in the year than does Droitwich. The paving slabs look nice wet

Now I've had one visit to Bath in the past two years and it rained then so I'm assuming that this is a daily occurrence. You seem to have a very wide angle lens to get this view.
Bill Phillips: Yes it is and yes I have

How odd that you should have happened on Bath on its one wet day in the year, Bill (I say this with tongue in cheek -the road at the bottom of the hill into the neighbouring village was impassable with floods again last evening)
Bill Phillips: There have been flooded roads around here too and there is more on the way tonight apparently. I think the South West is getting the worst of it

There are usually so many people around. Your series on Droitwich had no people in them either. Makes me wonder what are you doing to all the people before you take the shots?
Bill Phillips: There are some here Mary. I don't want too many of them cluttering the place up taking Selfies

Baths do tend to become wet from time to time
Bill Phillips: I think the City was well named Comrade
The precipitation Bath received on this particular day has helped enhance the quality of your fine image, Bill. The wet paving stones have taken on the wonderful colour of the Abbey. A great shot from this angle.
Bill Phillips: Rain has its' uses Beverly

Very impressive and imposing - it looks good in the rain too
Bill Phillips: Nothing wrong with a drop of rain...it is when it doesn't know when to stop that it becomes a problem
Nice to see this place again Bill! Thank you for sharing.
Bill Phillips: It is a fine City Richard and the Abbey is one of the cities gems
I always rue that on our only short visit to Bath back in the early 70's we never went inside the Abbey. I would like to visit there again but it does seem the sort of place to attract quiet a lot of wet weather!
Bill Phillips: Never stops Brian, but the Abbey is fairly waterproof so don't be put off
What an amazing building. The rain just adds some shine.
Bill Phillips: It is beautiful and Bath is a beautiful city. Thanks Hollie
what a beautiful building in cloudy Bath!
Bill Phillips: It is a major attraction in the City Ronky
