Droitwich Christms Lights4/5

They usually have lights on this tree but there was nothing there when I took this

There are lights on the tree but they hadn't turned them on. They look quite nice

There were lights on the tree but not switched on

I think I'm going back to bed..
Bill Phillips: A wise course of action
really nice shot here Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks JC. The colour versions are on FB

These are actually some of you best pictures of dear old Droiters (rain capital of the world) Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is a good picture of the pub.....Bath is much wetter than Droitwich as the statistics I published recently prove.

Silent night ...I like this quiet scene with the different lights.
Bill Phillips: Silent night would have been a good title Philine

We have finally seen a person on the wild streets of Droitwich.
Bill Phillips: Damn....I forgot to clone her out

Never mind; it is being illuminated buy the car's headlights. The streets are getting crowded with the eager shoppers.
Bill Phillips: A bit of action in this picture....if you like blurred cars
I think I love this one best Bill!
Bill Phillips: Actually so do I Ronky
Shame about the Christmas tree lights not being on for this Christmas lights shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Bit of bad timing Janet

This is a good version of the Droitwich tree with no lights ... actually I like it a lot as an image.
Bill Phillips: I think the pub looks good

I like the tree like that - this is an atmospheric picture
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Anne
The cuts are evidently biting!
Bill Phillips: Got to pay for the new runway in London somehow
Like Richard I also like the image, and that is a fine half-timbered building in the background.
Bill Phillips: There are a number of rather nice buildings in Droitwich and a lot of boring modern ones
Good series Bill, I'd love to shoot some local villages at night, but you never get rid of the cars completely, which somehow spoil the idea for me, but no doubt they would seem quite quaint in 50 years hence.
Bill Phillips: In some ways the pictures will have more interest in the future for the cars and also the shops that have gone, almost without noticing. I wish I had kept a photo record of the town for all the nearly 37 years I have lived here
Energy savings everywhere Bill!
I like the motion effect.
Bill Phillips: I blame EDF grin
