Droitwich Christms Lights 1/5

Well such as they are. They are not very exciting and actually look better in black and white

They really are Christms lights, aren't they - pared down to the minimum to save money presumably
Bill Phillips: Times are hard...unless you are an MP

Simple and not over-done, Bill. I like that.
Bill Phillips: It certainly isn't over-done Ginnie.

I like the decoration -but where are the shopping crowds that are needed to improve the economy? - but the econoy is increasing in GB as Mr. Osborne reacently said according to the news in our German newspapers ...
Bill Phillips: Mr Osborne thinks the South East of England is the whole country

B&W works for me Bill. Did you go in the warm pub, to the right in the picture, and celebrate?
Bill Phillips: That's Lloyds Bank Lady P grin

I think that colour looks better in black and white Bill. A smart image and very appropriate for BM.
Bill Phillips: It is like the pictures are better on the radio

Looks quite cheery to me - too much garish colour in the world as it is ;o)

If I was a Droitwich, I would have sicked my lawyers on you, long ago. Remember the [lace us renowned for bacon butties and not Christmas or rain.
Bill Phillips: Don't forget the famous Droitwich sausage
Very atmospheric, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Needs a bit of snow!

Subtle lighting system ...must be good.
Bill Phillips: Minimalist is the word that comes to my mind comrade
I like the feeling you've captured here, Bill. Reminds me of a classic B&W Christmas film.
Bill Phillips: It's a wonderful life perhaps? Actually that is on the TV over Christmas!
Great Black and White effects
Bill Phillips: Thanks ronky. A bit of snow would have been good grin

Nice, crisp image, Bill...who cares if the lights are underwhelming...
Bill Phillips: Well I would have liked a bit more pazzazz
We never get much in Shepshed, although there are some, but Loughborough always has a good show, most of it left over from the Diwali celebrations (?) just prior to the Christmas period.
Bill Phillips: Our Hindu friends know how to party Brian. Diwali is a wonderful occasion

I like the one that looks a bit a black horse; makes me think of a Lloyds bank sign. Oh... it is a Lloyds bank sign... The library looks good.
Bill Phillips: It started life as Salters Hall and then became a cinema now it is a library. The ski run they built on the right hand end doesn't do a lot for it although I have got used to it now!
A very good B&W shot of it Bill
