You wouldn't have this happening in posh Bromsgrove
Bill Phillips: Oh i fear you would comrade
It's not even December yet, you should be shot.Stroll on 27th December.
Bill Phillips: Bah Humbug. We have a month of Grotto and Sleigh and will probably make a couple of Thousand quid for local kids charities so it is worth looking a prat grin

Ho Ho How do you make money?
Bill Phillips: Children and parents have a chat with Santa and get a small gift but we don't charge. We have collecting buckets for our charity fund and people put money in if they wish. Last year we took about £1500 in the grotto and about £2000 on the sleigh that we take round the streets.
I must say that is a fine looking grotto that Santa is reclining in. Is this just on the one occasion each year or do the Lions erect this and do the Santa thing each weekend leading up to Christmas?
Bill Phillips: We started last Saturday and do every Saturday and then when the schools break up we do every day. The Sleigh starts tomorrow and we divide the town between us an the Rotary club and it runs every evening up to the 23rd
The old fellow looks lonely. Where are all the kiddies clamoring for the chance to sit on Santa's lap so they can give him a verbal list of everything they want to see under the tree on Christmas morning?
Bill Phillips: Not so much of the old! That's the Yellowbear! We did these pictures after we had finished as we left the camera in the grotto when Santa did his walkabout!

A funny montage - the wellies are necessary in Droitwich even nfor Sinterklaas, of course! Fine that you have been so successful - and as I see it didn't rain to support your charity engagement!
Bill Phillips: It was dry and was again today when the lights were switched on. I was one of the Marshals helping with the parade through the town behind Santa in a coach with black horses (well it does belong to the funeral directors! It was slightly chaotic but everyone seemed to have a good time!
I knew that !!! Now we are sure you're Him !
Like to get a new Canon , Santa Claus, Pleaaaaassse
Bill Phillips: Have you been a good boy this year young Zeb???
You seem enjoying playing the game Bill! Fine collage.
Bill Phillips: It is good fun Richard
Already...thot they didn't start until 1st of Dec...
